2000 Chevrolet Malibu V6-3.1L VIN JSECTION Service and Repair



REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the engine oil pressure sensor.
4. Remove the engine oil pressure sensor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the engine oil pressure sensor.

Tighten
The oil pressure sensor to 16 N.m(12 in lbs.)

2. Connect the electrical connector to the engine oil pressure sensor.
3. Lower the vehicle.
