Scan Tool Range 0.0 to 5.0 Volts. EGR Closed Valve Pintle Position represents the learned voltage that the PCM uses to determine whether or not the EGR valve is fully closed (0% pintle position). If the Desired EGR Position is 0% and a calibrated difference between EGR Feedback and EGR Closed Valve Pintle Position is detected, DTC P1404 will set.
