Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Relieve the system fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Sender Assembly Replacement
2. Drain fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Draining Procedure
3. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting in Service Precautions.
4. Remove the fuel tank.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel tank vapor pressure sensor.
6. Remove the fuel tank vapor pressure sensor (7) from modular fuel sender.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the new fuel tank vapor pressure sensor (7) to modular fuel sender.
2. Connect the electrical connector to fuel tank vapor pressure sensor
3. Reinstall the fuel tank.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Refill tank and reinstall the fuel fill cap.
6. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
6.1. Turn the ignition switch ON for 2 seconds.
6.2. Turn the ignition switch OFF for 10 seconds.
6.3. Turn the ignition switch ON.
6.4. Check for fuel leaks.
7. Reinstall the fuel injection sight shield.
