Cruise Control Module: Service and Repair
1999 Chevrolet Express 1/2 Ton Van V6-4.3L VIN WSECTION Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise and support the hood.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly from the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the cruise control module.
4. Disconnect the cruise control cable from the cruise control module. Refer Cruise Control Cable Replacement
5. Remove the nuts (2) that retain the cruise control module to the cruise control bracket.
6. Remove the cruise control module (3) from the cruise control bracket (1).
7. Remove the cruise control module (3) from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the cruise control module (3) to the vehicle.
2. Install the cruise control module (3) to the cruise control bracket (1).
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
3. Install the nuts (2) that retain the cruise control module (3) to the cruise control bracket (1).
Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
4. Connect the cruise control cable to the cruise control module. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement. Service and Repair
5. Connect the electrical connector to the cruise control module.
6. Install the air cleaner assembly to the vehicle.
7. Close the hood.
