REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the generator from the vehicle.
2. Remove the tensioner from the generator bracket.
3. Remove the idler pulley from the generator bracket.
4. Remove the retaining bolts and nuts from the generator bracket.
5. Remove the generator bracket from the engine.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the generator bracket to the engine.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the generator bracket retaining bolts and nuts to the generator bracket.

Tighten
^ Tighten the generator mounting bracket bolts to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).
^ Tighten the generator mounting bracket nuts to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

3. Install the idler pulley to the generator bracket.
4. Install the tensioner to the generator bracket.
5. Install the generator to the vehicle.
