Engine Oil: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Raise the vehicle and support with safety stands. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the oil filter from the engine block.
3. Remove the oil pan drain plug and drain the engine oil.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the oil filter to the engine block.
2. Install the drain plug to the oil pan.
3. Remove the safety stands and lower the vehicle.
4. Fill the crankcase with oil.
