1997 Chevrolet Astro Van 2WD V6-4.3L VIN WSECTION Service and Repair

Interior Lamp Control Module (without RKE):






Vehicles with the optional Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system have the interior lamp control module incorporated into the RKE module.

Vehicles not equipped with RKE have a separate module located next to the DLC.

Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative battery cable. Refer to Service Precautions.
2. Electrical connector from the module.
3. Module from the I/P by releasing the locking tab on the back side of the DLC bracket.

Install or Connect
1. Module to the I/P by aligning the fastener with the hole in the DLC bracket and pressing into place.
2. Electrical connector to the module.
3. Negative battery cable. Refer to Service Precautions.
