Inner Panel Water Deflector

Front Door Inner Panel Water Deflectors:
Waterproof deflectors are used to seal the inner panel and prevent water from entering into the body. The deflector is secured by a strip of adhesive between the deflector and door, as well as waterproof sealing tape.
Remove or Disconnect
1. Trim panel.
2. Water deflector.
A. Pull the waterproof sealing tape from the deflector.
B. Break the bond between the sealer and the door with a flat-blade tool.
Install or Connect
1. Water deflector to the door.
^ Use strip caulking as a sealant between the deflector and the door if needed.
2. Waterproof tape.
3. Trim panel to the door.
