1995 Chevrolet S10/T10 P/U 2WD L4-2.2L VIN 4SECTION Description and Operation
A Scan Tool can be connected to the DLC; this allows the Scan Tool to communicate with either the PCM, DERM and/or VCM. System operations can then be monitored for diagnostic purposes.
There are two data lines access with a Scan Tool. Circuit 800 (TAN) UART data line allows the Powertrain Control Module and the Diagnostic Energy Reserve Module to communicate with each other and/or a Scan Tool. Circuit 1807 (PPL) CLASS-2 data line allows the Vehicle Control Module to communicate with a Scan Tool.
