Crankshaft Position Sensor:
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
2. Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor harness connector at module.
3. CKP sensor mounting bolt.
4. CKP sensor from engine.
Inspect
Sensor O-ring for wear, cracks or leakage. Replace if necessary. Lube new O-ring with engine oil before installing.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. CKP sensor into block.
2. CKP sensor mounting bolt.
Tighten
CKP sensor mounting bolt to 8 Nm (71 lb in).
3. CKP sensor harness connector.
4. Lower vehicle.
