Throttle Position Sensor: Adjustments

1991 Chevrolet Caprice Wagon RWD V8-350 5.7LSECTION Adjustments

The throttle position sensor is not adjustable. The normal closed throttle position voltage is between 0.40 and 1.25 volts, and normal wide open throttle position voltage is approximately 5.0 volts. If these limits are not in specification, check for freedom of throttle movement, and accelerator pedal interference from carpets and other obstructions. If the problem is not corrected, replace the TPS.
