Refer to Tune Up Specifications chart for curb and fast idle speeds. Check and, if necessary, adjust engine idle speeds every 30,000 miles.




CARBURETED MODELS

Exc. Nova

1. Disconnect and plug vacuum hoses as directed on vehicle emission label.
2. Place fast idle adjusting screw on highest step of fast idle cam.
3. Turn adjusting screw inward or outward as required until specified fast idle speed is obtained.

FUEL INJECTED MODELS

No provision for adjustment is provided for fuel injection equipped vehicles.
