Compressor Replacement

1984 Chevrolet Cavalier L4-121 2.0L VIN P TBISECTION Compressor Replacement

BERETTA, CAVALIER, CIMARRON, CORSICA, FIRENZA, SKYHAWK & SUNBIRD

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then discharge system refrigerant.
2. Raise vehicle on suitable hoist, then remove right air dam and splash shield.
3. Disconnect harness lead from compressor clutch, then remove refrigerant line connection at rear of compressor.
4. Remove compressor mounting bolts and lift unit from vehicle.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
