CAUTION:
The Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM) is a permanent memory that is physically soldered to the circuit boards within the computer. It is not serviceable and should not be removed for replacement. If COMPUTER replacement is performed, reprogramming of the EEPROM will be necessary. Failure to do this will cause the vehicle to have a no start or poor running condition. Reprogramming of the EEPROM is only possible with the Service Stall System (SSS) hardware available at authorized dealer locations. Check with a dealer before performing COMPUTER replacement or EEPROM reprogramming.
