NOTE: On vehicles equipped with diesel engine, remove the injection pump rod from throttle lever before adjusting cable.

1. Depress and hold metal lock tab.
2. Move slider back through fitting in direction away from throttle idler lever until slider stops against fitting, then release lock tab.
3. Rotate throttle idler lever to full travel stop position.
