Ignition Precautions

1. Do not disconnect battery with engine running.
2. Ensure that igniter is properly grounded to prevent damaging internal components.
3. Do not connect ignition coil terminals to ground as igniter or coil may be damaged.
4. Do not leave ignition switch on (engine stopped) for more than 10 minutes.
5. When connecting tachometer, follow procedures outlined in manufacturer's instructions, and ensure that meter used is compatible with electronic ignition system.
