Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector (1).





Important:
There are alignment features on the canister, however, there are no locking tabs on the sensor/canister. The sensor is held into the canister by the tight fit of the multi-lip seal.


3. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor from the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the fuel tank pressure sensor to the EVAP canister until fully seated.





2. Connect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector (1).

3. Lower the vehicle.
