Heater Core Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the HVAC module. Refer to Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Removal and Installation Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly.
2. Remove the heater hose bracket screw.
3. Remove the heater hose bracket (1).
4. Slide the heater core out of the HVAC module.
Installation Procedure
1. Slide the heater core into the HVAC module.
2. Install the heater hose bracket (1).
Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.
3. Install the heater hose bracket screw and tighten to 1 Nm (9 lb in).
4. Install the HVAC module. Refer to Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Removal and Installation Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly.
