Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair
2002 Cadillac Eldorado V8-4.6L VIN YSECTION Service and Repair
1. Remove the fuel tank.
2. Disconnect the harness connector from the fuel tank pressure sensor.
3. Remove the clip from the fuel tank pressure sensor (1).
4. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor from the modular fuel sender.
5. Inspect the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor seal for damage. Replace as necessary. Always replace the FTP sensor seal when replacing the FTP sensor.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the fuel tank pressure sensor into the modular fuel sender.
2. Reinstall the clip to the fuel tank pressure sensor.
3. Connect the harness connector to the fuel tank pressure sensor.
4. Reinstall the fuel tank.
