Control Assembly Replacement (With UY4)
REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the instrument panel center trim plate.
2. Remove the console trim plate.
3. Remove the control assembly bracket fasteners.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the control assembly.

5. Remove the control assembly.

6. Remove the control assembly retaining nuts.
7. Remove the control assembly from the bracket.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the control assembly to the bracket.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the control assembly retaining nuts
Tighten
Tighten the radio retaining nuts to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

3. Install the control assembly to vehicle.

4. Connect the electrical connector to the control assembly.
5. Install the control assembly bracket fasteners.
6. Install the console trim plate.
7. Install the instrument panel center trim plate.
8. Recalibrate the control assembly. Refer to BCM Programming/RPO Configuration in Body Control System.

3. Remove the control assembly bracket fasteners.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the control assembly.
5. Remove the control assembly.
6. Remove the control assembly retaining nuts.
7. Remove the control assembly from the bracket.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the control assembly to the bracket.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the control assembly retaining nuts
Tighten
Tighten the radio retaining nuts to 10 N.m (88 lb in).
3. Install the control assembly to vehicle.
4. Connect the electrical connector to the control assembly.
5. Install the control assembly bracket fasteners.
6. Install the console trim plate.
7. Install the instrument panel center trim plate.
8. Recalibrate the control assembly. Refer to BCM Programming/RPO Configuration in Body Control System.
