Switch Plate Removal:
NOTICE: When removing a door trim panel or switch plate, disconnect the negative battery terminal. This will eliminate the possibility of shorting Out the switch if a screwdriver, awl or metal object is used to remove the switch from the harness.
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Switch plate by inserting flat-bladed tool between trim panel and front edge of switch plate to disengage retainer from trim panel.
2. Slide switch plate forward.
3. Electrical connectors.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Electrical connector to window switch.
2. Electrical connector to lighter.
3. Switch Assembly. Engage tab at front and snap opposite end into place.
