Cruise Control Cable Adjustment

1998 Buick LeSabre V6-3.8L VIN KSECTION Cruise Control Cable Adjustment



1. Remove the injector sight shield.

IMPORTANT: The adjustment lock is located on the TBI end of the cable.

2. Disengage the adjustment lock (1) on the cruise control cable.
When the adjustment lock is disengaged, the cable will move freely in and cut of the adjuster.
3. Hold the TBI at the closed position.
4. Complete the following steps in order to eliminate slack in the cable:
4.1. Pull the cable.
4.2. Engage the adjustment lock.
5. Replace the injector sight shield.
