1987 Buick Electra V6-231 3.8L VIN 3 FISECTION Electronic Module Retard-Vacuum Switch (EMR-VS)

The electrical contacts of this switch are normally closed. When the TVS directs vacuum to the EMR-VS, the contacts close and complete the circuit to ground. The circuit is energized when 4 or more inches Hg are applied and de-energized when vacuum is reduced to 5.75 inches Hg or less.
