Compressor Replacement

1987 Buick Electra V6-231 3.8L VIN 3 FISECTION Compressor Replacement

ELECTRA, LESABRE, 88 & 98, PARK AVE.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Discharge A/C system.
3. Disconnect compressor electrical connections.
4. Remove front compressor upper pivot bolts.
5. Raise and support vehicle.
6. Remove splash shield, then compressor adjusting bolts and belt.
7. Remove hose assembly from rear of compressor, then remove compressor, Figs. 14 and 15.
