Control Module Of The SMG Gearbox (PUMA: H-SMG 6-speed / Various Complaints About Shifting Gear)
Vehicles of the model series E46 and E85 within the period 03/03 and 07/03 can be affected by the measure.
Within the framework of measure 278992, SMG control modules with the following part numbers must be replaced if they have no blue point (2):
- 7530821 (1)
- no "blue point" (2)
Only SMG control modules with the above part number have to be replaced if the blue point (2) is missing.
The following control modules with different part numbers do not have to be replaced, even if they do not have a blue point on the housing of the control module.
