The Automatic Slip Control + Traction (ASC (+T)) control unit monitors the operation of the pump relay. With the relay deenergized, the integrity of the ground circuit through the pump is monitored. With the relay energized, the switching of the relay contacts to supply power to the pump is also checked by the ASC control unit
