Digital Sound System Control Module -J525-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, ADVANCED SOUND SYSTEM (8RF), THROUGH MY 2020: Removing
-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment. Set the ignition key outside of the vehicle.
-- Remove the left luggage compartment side trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITHOUT HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM or LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM .
The bracket -2- with the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- -1- must be removed first.
-- Remove the nuts -arrows- from under the bracket -2-.
-- Remove the screws -arrows- from the top of the bracket -2-.
-- Pivot out the bracket -2- with the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- -1-.
-- Release and disconnect the connectors -3 and 4- from the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- -1-.
-- Insert the Fiber-Optic Repair Set - Connector Protective Caps:VAS 6223/9 -1- onto the MOST bus connector -2-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- from the bracket -2- and remove the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- -1- from the bracket.
