Vehicle Electrical System Control Module, from 06.2008

Removing

- If the control module was replaced, select the Replace function for the respective control module in Guided Fault Finding or Guided Functions.

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove the 5-plug relay carrier. Refer to => [ 5-Plug Relay Carrier, from 06.2008 ] 5-Plug Relay Carrier, From 06.2008.

- Disconnect electrical connectors - 2 through 4 -.






- To disconnect electrical connector, press catch - 1 -, turn retaining bracket in - direction of arrow - and remove connector.






- Release retaining springs - arrows - and remove vehicle electrical system control module (J519) - 1 - from the base mount.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

If the vehicle electrical system control module was replaced, then is must be re-coded.

- Select the function or path






- Follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnosis Tester display.

- Install the 5-plug relay carrier. Refer to => [ 5-Plug Relay Carrier, from 06.2008 ] 5-Plug Relay Carrier, From 06.2008.
