CONDITION
After replacing vehicle electrical system control unit J519 (address code 09), the central locking system is inoperative.

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

In the replacement vehicle electrical system control unit, the factory central locking mode is active.

PRODUCTION SOLUTION

Not applicable.

SERVICE

In vehicle electrical system control unit J519 (address code 09), change the value in adaptation channel 19 from 1 to 0, using vehicle self-diagnosis in the VAS scan tool.

Correcting the adaptation values is considered part of the module replacement repair.
