Condition
The service interval display cannot be reset.
Technical Background
If the service interval display is reset under the menu point Service Work in Guided Functions, or in Guided Fault Finding, the counter for the mileage and time related service may not be reset. Therefore, Service due or Service! is still shown.
Production Solution
Not applicable.
Service
1. In Self Diagnosis, enter address code 17 (Instrument Cluster), and change adaptation channels 53 and 55 to zero. Do not replace the instrument cluster for this concern.
2. Carry out all service work as before.
