Front Axle Camber, Centering

Camber cannot be adjusted.

The camber can only be centered evenly within the tolerance range by sliding the subframe.

- Remove the lower noise insulation, depending on the model and engine.

- Remove the bolts - 1 and 2 - and install new bolts loosely.






- Slide the subframe - 3 - in the direction of the arrow until the camber is even on both sides.

- Tighten the subframe/console bolts - 1 and 2 -.

- Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Subframe, Diagonal Brace, Ball Joint, Stabilizer Bar, Transverse Link, Bracket and Vehicle Level Sensor Overview ] Subframe, Diagonal Brace, Ball Joint, Stabilizer Bar, Transverse Link, Bracket and Vehicle Level Sensor Overview.

After moving the subframe and steering gear, check the clearance between the steering column universal joint and the cutout in the bulkhead.

- Remove securing nuts - arrows - and remove foot well trim.






There must be at least 5 mm of clearance all the way around between the universal joint - 2 - and the cut-out in the plenum chamber bulkhead.
