Headlamp Range Control Module
Component location is on the front of the central tube for the instrument panel inside the driver footwell
Removing
- If the control module was replaced, select the Replace function for the respective control module in Guided Fault Finding or Guided Functions.
- Select the function or path
- Follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnosis Tester display.
- Remove the driver storage compartment.
- Disconnect electrical connector - 2 -.
- Remove screws - 3 - and - 4 - and remove headlamp range control module (J431) - item 1 -.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
If headlamp range control module was replaced, it must be re-coded.
- Select the function or path
- Follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnosis Tester display.
- Install the driver storage compartment.
