1 - Fender Brace

4 - Fender

Before removing, disengage bumper cover and wheel housing liner. Refer to => [ Front Bumper ] Front Bumper.

Remove fender cover, refer to => [ Removing Fender Cover ].

To remove, remove bolts - 3 - on fender flange.

With door opened, remove bolt - 5 -.

Loosen bolt - 6 - with fitted shim.

Remove sheet metal screws - 10 - of fender brace and sheet metal screws - 8 - under end plate and remove fender to the side.

5 - Combination Bolt

7.5 Nm

6 - Combination Bolt with Fitted Shim

4.5 Nm

When removing fender, only loosen bolt and pull out fender to the side (oblong hole in tab).

7 - Combination Screw

5 Nm

8 - Combination Screw

5 Nm

Accessible under end plate.

9 - Spring Nut

Quantity: 2.

10 - Combination Screw

10 Nm.

11 - Fender Cover

Removing => [ Removing Fender Cover ].

End Plate, Removing and Installing





- Wheel housing liner removed. Refer to => [ Front Wheel Housing Liner ] Front Wheel Housing Liner.

- Remove bolts - 1 - and remove end plate - 3 - from wheel housing.

- Washer - 2 -

- Clip - 4 - inserted in chassis.

- Fender - 5 -.

Removing Fender Cover





- Remove bolts for wheel housing liner in area of cover.

- Push wheel housing liner aside and remove bolts - 2 -.

- Press lugs - arrows - together and pull off cover - 3 - outward from fender.

- Clip - 1 - inserted in chassis.

- Wheel housing liner - 4 -

Seal for Wheel Housing Liner





- Self-adhesive, pull off protective paper and press on seal - 1 - as shown from inside onto fender - 2 -.

- If necessary, the seal can be broken out at the perforation to feed through various wires.
