Driver Memory Seat Control Head (E97)
Removing
Danger of unintended engine ignition.
Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key from the vehicle interior for all work performed on the high voltage vehicle.
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
- Remove the front door trim..
- Disconnect the electrical connector - 4 -.
- Release the hooks with a small screwdriver in the direction of the - B arrows -.
- At the same time carefully open the retaining tabs - 1 - and - 2 - in the direction of the - A arrows -.
- Remove the driver memory seat control head (E97) - 3 - from the retainer in the direction of the - C arrow -.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
- Press driver seat memory program control head into the switch mount until the retaining hooks engage.
- Install the front door trim..
