Pinpoint Test H: DTCs U1000:00
Normal Operation
- DTC U1000:00 (Solid State Driver Protection Active - Driver Disabled: No Sub Type Information)- a continuous DTC that sets when the RFA (Remote Function Actuator) module has disabled an output circuit due to a repetitive fault causing a circuit overload.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Output circuit short to ground or voltage
- RFA (Remote Function Actuator) module
PINPOINT TEST H : DTCs U1000:00
H1 REVIEW THE DTCs
- Review the DTCs from the RFA (Remote Function Actuator) module self-test.
Are any other DTCs besides U1000:00 or U3000:49 present?
Yes
REFER to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Chart Body Control Systems/ Body Control Module. After the repair, GO to H2.
No
GO to H2.
H2 CARRY OUT THE RFA (Remote Function Actuator) MODULE SELF-TEST
- Carry out the RFA (Remote Function Actuator) module self-test.
Is only DTC U3000:49 present?
Yes
INSTALL a new RFA (Remote Function Actuator) module. REFER to Remote Function Actuator (RFA) Module . TEST the system for normal operation.
No
The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern was caused by a short from an output circuit.
