This symptom troubleshooting only applies to vehicles where the following conditions are fulfilled:
- The vehicle is made up to and incl. structure week 200939.
- Diagnostic trouble code SRS-U300000 is stored.
- There is a message in Driver information module (DIM) recommending service of the supplemental restraint system module (SRS).
Investigations have confirmed that diagnostic trouble code SRS-U300000 can be stored incorrectly due to a fault in the software in Supplemental restraint system module (SRS). The diagnostic trouble code can be stored during or just after a workshop visit.

Note! Do not replace supplemental restraint system module (SRS).

First erase diagnostic trouble codes and then download new software in Supplemental restraint system module (SRS).
