Towing Recognition Control Module (J345), Coding

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trailer Socket Tester (VAS 5800)

• Power Outlet Tester (V.A.G 1537/A)

• Vehicle Diagnostic Tester

This test program is used to code the towing recognition control module.

- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

- On the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester , select "Guided Fault Finding".

- Using the "Go To" button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:

• Body

• Body repair procedures

• Towing sensor

• Functions

• Coding Control Module for towing sensor
