Engine installed -A-:
- Move flywheel or drive plate to cylinder 1 TDC marking.
Engine removed -B-:
- Align mark on vibration damper (pulley) with arrow on top of poly-ribbed belt guard.
- Align mark on camshaft drive belt sprocket with arrow on top of drive belt cover.
- Align slot of oil pump drive with hole for Ignition Distributor mounting bolt.
- Insert Ignition Distributor with rotor aligned to mark on housing.
- Clean distributor cap before installing. Look for cracks and current tracking, replace if necessary.
- Check ignition timing, adjust if necessary. Testing and Inspection
