Specific System Condition - Compressor No - Pump:
IMPORTANT: Make sure manifold gauge set valves are closed
KEY: NO CHANGE IN SUCTION AND DISCHARGE PRESSURES WITH COMPRESSOR ENGAGED. GAUGE PRESSURE WILL BE ALMOST EQUAL.
THEN: Most likely the vanes are not extending to the cylinder walls.
^ Run engine at 2000 rpm and cycle compressor On and Off two or three times..
^ If pressure remains static, engage compressor and snap engine throttle two or three times.
^ If pressure still remains static replace compressor.
^ After repair return to diagnostic flow chart.
