Yellow warning in instrument cluster "Gearbox emergency operation" and fault code P1767 entered in the PDK control unit (transmission control).
Information
Until such a time as PIWIS Tester software version 11.700 becomes available, the PDK control unit (transmission control) must be re-programmed using PIWIS Tester II with test software version 11.300 (or higher) installed if fault code P1767 is entered. See "Procedure" section.
Date of Introduction:
--> Vehicles produced since October 17, 2012 already have updated software in the PDK transmission control unit.
--> With the availability of PIWIS Tester software version 11.700 (should be available from February 2013), fault finding (also for fault code P1767) should be carried out in the PIWIS Tester using GFF (Guided Fault Finding).
