Immobilizer control unit
Information:
The immobilizer control unit cannot be taught following replacement of the front-end electronics control unit.
If the front-end electronics control unit is replaced, a teaching process ('Online teaching function' menu) must then be carried out using PIWIS Tester II.
The "Online teaching function" may be aborted if PIWIS Tester II software version 11.500 or higher is used.
--> If the teaching process is aborted:
^ The teaching process must be restarted several times using PIWIS Tester II
^ until the "Online teaching function" has been completed "successfully" (no error message displayed).
The process may have to be repeated three or four times.
--> This fault will be corrected when PIWIS Tester II software version 11.600 becomes available (should be available at the end of February).
Working Time:
Teaching immobilizer control unit "online" - Labor time 30 TU
