Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, REFER to Safety Warnings . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

Removal

1. Remove the ACL (Air Cleaner) outlet tube. REFER to Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe - 2.0L GDI .

2. Disconnect the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor electrical connector.

3. Remove the 2 bolts and the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor housing.

4. Remove the 2 screws and the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor.

Installation

1. Install the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor and the 2 screws.
- Tighten to 1.5 Nm (13 lb-in).

2. Install the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor housing and the 2 bolts.
- Tighten to 2.2 Nm (19 lb-in).

3. Connect the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor electrical connector.

4. Install the ACL (Air Cleaner) outlet tube. REFER to Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe - 2.0L GDI .
