Ignition Switch:
Removal and Installation
CAUTION: Do not remove the ignition lock cylinder and the ignition switch at the same time or damage to the column can result.
1. Depower the supplemental restraint system (SRS).
2. Remove the upper steering column shroud.
^ Press inward on the sides of the upper steering column shroud.
3. Remove the 3 lower steering column shroud screws and the lower shroud.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector.
5. Remove the ignition switch.
^ Release the 2 locking tabs.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
7. Repower the SRS.
