If there are codes stored the system will display them in numerical order, followed by a code 55 indicating test complete. If any code other than 55 is displayed during either procedure further diagnosis and testing are necessary.
After completion of all repairs, and testing, fault codes may be erased with the scan tool, by accessing "erase fault code data". Care should be used to ensure all repairs have been made prior to fault code erasure.
