SYMPTOM
P-0320 NO CRANK REFERENCE SIGNAL AT PCM

WHEN MONITORED
During engine cranking, with battery voltage less than 11.5 volts and manifold vacuum present.

SET CONDITION
No signal from crankshaft position (CKP) sensor during engine cranking or there is a camshaft position sensor signal w/o a CKP sensor signal.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- CKP def
- CKP sensor ground circuit open
- CMP def
- Crankshaft position sensor defective
- Crankshaft notches damaged
- Flywheel damaged
- 8-volt supply circuit open
- 8-volt supply circuit short to ground
- CKP sensor signal circuit open
