1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove righthand hush panel.
3. Disconnect electrical connectors from ECM.
4. Remove ECM attaching screws and the ECM.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Replacement ECM is supplied without engine calibration unit (PROM). Care should be taken when removing the PROM from a defective unit, as it will be used in the replacement ECM.
