13 61 050 - Replace control unit
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Follow instructions for removing and installing control units Service and Repair
- Read out fault memory of DME/DDE control unit
- Switch off ignition
Release screws.
Remove electronics box cover (1).
Installation:
Engage electronics box cover (1) correctly in hinges.
Unlock plug (1) and detach from control unit (2).
Unlock and remove control unit (2).
Add final details to vehicle.
If replacing control units, carry out coding/programming Programming and Relearning.
Note:
Now clear the fault memory.
