Signal Test Using Oscilloscope:
Measuring instrument: BMW SERVICE TESTER
Test lead: Terminal 1, black; Terminal D+, blue; Terminal 31, brown
Test Procedure
Connect terminal 31 to vehicle ground, connect terminal 1 and terminal 0+ to the wire to be tested.
To facilitate triggering, the lead terminal 1 (black) can be connected to the lead "FREQ OFF" (blue). (-> Frequency for triggering specified).
Select *M* for multimeter and "22" for oscilloscope.
The measured signal is displayed on the oscilloscope.
