Control of the charge or pre-boost pump is an output function of the DSC control module. During Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) regulation that requires dynamic stability control, the module activates the pump to ensure that a sufficient supply of brake fluid is available for the hydraulic circuit's function.
The DSC module supplies 12 volts operating power to the pumps.
