Ground Cable with Battery Monitoring Control Module, In Engine Compartment
Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Contact Corrosion.
Removing
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
- Remove battery cover - 1 - by pressing release button - arrow -.
- Loosen the nut several turns and remove the ground cable - 3 - from the battery terminal.
- Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 -.
- Remove the nut - 5 - and ground cable - 4 - with the battery monitoring control module (J367) - item 2 -.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
- Connect battery => Battery In Engine Compartment, Disconnecting and Connecting.
